“ the food was delicious! there weren't a lot of people when we came here at night for dinner, so that's a plus! we will definitely come back in the near future for some yummy pho! ”
“ Located across the street from Mt Sac, the place has great pho. Good variety, decent pricing, and the location is clean. Our family goes there from time to time as we believe it is one of the better pho options in the immediate Walnut area. Parking is decent as well as it is a plaza. ”
“ We haven't been to Pho Hai for a while because we always have Vietnamese food in Rowland Heights. Pho Hai is located in a plaza right across Mt. Sac (Mt. San Antonio College) and it's next to Taco Nazo and Scoopz Premium ice cream. Hubby and I ordered Pho Dac Biet (Special Vietnamese noodle soup with rare steak, flank, tendon & tripe $16 for large size) and grilled pork spring rolls (4 pcs for $10.50) for late-night dinner. The rare steak quality was so fresh and delicious and the broth was on point and flavorful but we didn't feel too thirsty afterwards. The grilled pork spring rolls were also good and they made the wrap so thin. We will go back there again when we crave Vietnamese food. The price was also fair. Service was okay. (PS We redeemed the free Coke by checking in on Yelp but the server forgot to give us and we had to remind him) ”
“ We went to a Sunday lunch at Pho Hai which is located at a plaza right across the street of Mt. Sac. The restaurant serves pretty wide variety of Vietnamese cuisine. The decoration is traditional and eatery style. It is a mom-and-pop restaurant serving authentic Vietnamese food. Service is quick and friendly. We ordered bun Bo hue, ingredients and noodles are fine the soup base is lacking spiciness. And crispy noodles Mi Xao Gion, it's flavorful, crispy, with good amount of ingredients and sauce! ”
“ Great pho! Quick service. Got their phone chef's special. It was loaded with meat and the broth was delicious ”
“ Unexpected little mom and pop right across from MtSAC in the strip mall near Taco Nazo. I had a mad craving for a bahn mi and ordered for pickup. The heaping steaming bowls of Pho streaming by made me second guess! They looked great and eating in looks comfortable. May just do that next time! Sammich was Solid. The bread was good. I don't get pork, so I had chicken. It was a tad dry, so I added some kewpie mayo and a drizzle of chili oil. They do have options to add condiments when you order so consider that. The flavor was on-point, and veg was fresh and crunchy. A little expensive for the size but that's how it is. At the very least its good quality over quantity compromise. I would return. ”
“ Pho Hai is a pho restaurant located in Walnut. It's located in a plaza with a large parking lot and lots of other food locations. The shop itself has a good amount of seating inside and a restroom. The store itself was clean and service was good. The food came out quickly and everything was hot. Overall, ambiance and service was as expected. Food We ordered the #5, the #6, and the B1. The pho was $13 for a medium and $14 for a large and the banh mi was $10. For the price, the portions were big. The pho was pretty tasty especially when you add in chili, lime, and toppings. Definitely opt for the larger portion. The meat wasn't the greatest quality but it was a filling meal. The banh mi was very tasty and had a nice crunch to it; definitely recommend. Overall, the food was good and definitely try them out. Overall: 4.2 The ambiance + service: 4.5/5 The food: 4/5 The price: $$ ”
“ Our go to spot for Vietnamese food in Walnut. Workers are always friendly and attentive. Nice little cozy spot in the shopping center across from Mt SAC. The bread that they use for their Bahn mi sandwiches are always fresh - crunchy on the initial bite and then soft on the inside. The broth for their pho is well made and excellent - full of flavor. They're also generous with the amount of meat that comes in the pho. Can't go wrong coming here. ”
